The fascinating North
1° day: Chiang Mai
Reception in the
airport, transfer in the Hotel, time at disposition for possible
shopping or visits in option.
2° day: Chiang Mai–Mae Sariang–Mae Hong Son
Meeting in
Hotel. On first morning the big circuit of the North West is
undertaken. Following the Mae Nam Ping valley, along the highway
108, in direction South West, the inhabited centers of Sanpatong,
Chomtong and Hot are crossed, for then to penetrate in one of the
richest zones in forests vegetation and rivers of Thailand of the
North, and to reach Mae Sariang, turistic city a little frequented,
situated on the Burmese border on the banks of the Mae Nam
Yuam. Then we leaves on in direction North, to make standstill to
Khun Yuam, ( free city lunch city ), in which the greatest
part of the Ethnic Minorities of the North of Thailand is assembled.
Arrive to Mae Hong Son in the first afternoon, transfer in the
Hotel, free time at disposition, dinner and night at Mae Hong
Son.
3° day: Mae Hong Sorn–Pai
Breakfast in Hotel, after a visit at the characteristic local
market, the Padaung village is reached, an ancien Ethnic whose women
wear since the first infancy, and for the whole life, rings of metal
around the neck. Reentered to Mae Hong Sorn, visit The Wat Phra Tat,
on the Doi Kong Mu, from whose summit the look spaces on the town
and on the surrounding mountains. Free lunch. The trip is undertaken
toward Pai that reaches late in the afternoon, along a old road that
run through the magic valleys and buttresses along the Burmese
border and that offers amazing panoramas. Innumerable villages of
the local Ethnic Minorities are crossed: Lisu, Lahu, Hmong. Free
dinner. Night in Pai.
4° day: Pai–Tha Ton
Breakfast in the Hotel. A field of training of elephants is
reached, where to back of the pachidermis an adventurous walk is
effected through the surrounding jungle, following a standstill to
the thermal sources of Tha Pai. Free lunch. It is continued for
Fang, to arrive to Tha Ton, near village to Burma, surrounded from
forests and hills, point of departure of one of the most beautiful
excursions of the North, by river. Free dinner. Night at Tha Ton.
5° day: Tha Ton–Chiang Rai
Breakfast in the Hotel. From Tha Ton, the Wat Tha Ton is
visited, with a gigantic statue of the Budda set on the top of a
hill to protection of the valley, free lunch and it continues the
trip to the discovery of the North; floating in the middle of the
artistic and natural charm of the Kok, mecca of the travellers,
Chiang Rai is reached. Three hours on the river in a long-tail boat
floating in a magnificent scenery of vegetation, waterfalls and
typical scenes of tribal life. Along the run it is possible to stops
to some villages; Lisu and Akha. Free dinner. Night at Chiang Rai.
6° day: Chiang Rai–gold Triangle–Chiang Mai
Breakfast in the Hotel. From Chiang Rai, crossing villages of
the tribes of the mountains Shan, Akha and Lisu, reaches each other,
the famous Gold Triangle along the banks of the Mae Nam Khong, point
of conjunction of the confinements of Thailand, Laos and Burma, to
the confluence of the rivers Kong and Ruak. A brief journey handed
town that boasts the supremacy to be the most northern point in
Thailand to Mae Sai. A beautiful market with objects and
merchandises smuggled from Burma. Some times it is also allowed to
cross the border to the foreign . Free lunch. In the afternoon
reenter to Chiang Mai, along the run it stops to the thermal sources
of Nam Ron, arrival to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon, transfer in
the Hotel, free dinner, night at Chiang Mai.
7° day: Chiang Mai
Breakfast in the Hotel. Time at disposition, transfer to the
airport and departure for Krabi.

8° - 14° day: Ao Nang Beach

on the bay of Ao Nang Beach.

Tour of the "4 Islands" (lasted 1 day):
amazing
tour through one of the most stupendous places of the world ;
you can visit Ko Taloo, Ko Tab, Chiken Island and Ko Poda,
between the over 150 Andaman islands, coral barriers,
white beaches and caves and snorkeling between clouds of colored
fishes.
Tour to the inside (lasted 1 day):
A whole day inside the Natural Park
of Khao Nor Chu Who, to admire and to appreciate some gifts of the
nature.
A walk through the run nature, with stop to
the "Hot Spring Waterfall" (rising of warm water), rubber
plantation and refreshing bath in the "Lake Emerald", so called
for the unbelievable color of his waters. Visits the "Tiger cave
Temple", that is climbed for 1236 stairs offering an unforgettable
panoramic sight, and to the "once secret" valley where in the past
the monks lived and where present gigantic millennial trees are.
Tour to Phi Phi Islands (lasted 1 day ):
Unforgettable day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing each other in
the fantastic waters and beaches of the Phis Phi Islands, 45
minutes far from Krabi by a fast motorboat.
Visit and
snorkelling to Bamboo Island, Hin Klarng, Monkey Beach, Viking
Cave, Maya Bay, Lohsama Bay and Phi Phi Ley Lagoon; further to a
delicious lunch in a restaurant in shore to the sea to Phi Phi
Don.
15° day: Krabi
Breakfast in the
Hotel. Time at disposition, transfer to the Krabi airport and
departure for ulterior destinations.
